It's an award which is given to the accommodation that got the average score marked over 8 point of 10 among last year.

ART COMPLEXギア事務局さんに"GEAR"に招待いただきましたので、6月中頃にうさぎスタッフで行ってきました。

国内外とても有名な舞台らしく（うさぎスタッフは知りませんでしたが。。。）客席はほぼ満席でした。日本人の方よりも外国の方がたくさんいらっしゃいました。

舞台が始まる前までは、ノンバーバル（無声）の劇って楽しいのかなという思いがありました。学生時代に一度、他のノンバーバル劇を見ましたが、うとうとした記憶がありましたが、見事に私の疑いが晴れました。

プロジェクトマッピングとパフォーマーが演じるロボットたちが完璧に合わさって上演中ずっと魅了されていました。また内容がコメディ調に作られていて、会場は終始笑い声や、拍手が響き渡っていました。しかし最後は感動のシーンもあり、涙ぐんでいる方もいました。これは見る価値あり！！

またキャストが毎回入れ替わるらしく、それぞれのキャストの組み合わせで、毎回ショーが少しずつ違うようです。中にはリピーターの方もいらっしゃるようです。

夏に京都に訪れた際は、観光で京都を回るのも良いですが、涼し劇場でGEARを観るのはいかがですか。HPのキャンペーンページでは夫婦５０割やレディース割などが今行われているようです。京都でロングラン上演中のGEARを、夏の思い出に、日中や夜のエンターテイメントにいかがでしょうか。

 

We were invited for non verbal long run show "GEAR" in later June.  The theater is 3 stations away from us by subway, only about 15 mins to get there!

The show is very atractive and marvelus projection mapping are very well used all over the show.  It is very famous show in Japan as well as overseas visitors, and it was almost fully booked when we visited.  Surprisingly, a harf of audience is oveseas visitor!!!  Needless to say it is easy to understand the story when non verbal.  

The story has lots part of laughfing, applauding and crying.  Performers are well trained to move around in such a small hall.  They sometimes come to audience seats and include us in the show.  It is warth watching and non stop 90 minutes exciting show will become your great souvenir.

It seems they have so many acters and changes them every time, means the show changes a little bit in every show time.

Here we have very hot Kyoto Summer but how is watching it in a cooler hall.  We bet you enjoy this cool show and cool hall in Kyoto.  It's going to be great experience & chance!!

今日は、三条会商店街の大野屋さんをご紹介いたします。

Today, I'd like to introduce the Sushi restaurant "Ohno-ya" at the Sanjokai Arcade nearby our hotel.

京都の寿司をにぎって60年。2017年11月にリニューアルオープンした店内は、明るく清潔感にあふれています。

The restaurant was newly opened in November, 2017 after sixty years of work of the Sushi Maestro.

お店は朝10:00から夜7:00まで営業されており（昼夜同メニュー）、気軽に注文できるセットメニューが主流です。

The restaurant is open from 10:00am to 7:00pm and you can order from the same menu.

寒い日にはこちらの蒸し寿司セット「雪」（1,000円/税別）がおすすめです。あたたかいお寿司と定番のふわふわだし巻き卵をいただくと心もほっこり温まります。

When it's cold outside, the menu "YUKI" is highly recommended. It comes with a hot Chirashi-Sushi bowl and a softly baked egg, which would certainly make you happy.

 

お寿司が食べたい！というかたは、にぎりセット「華」（1,300円/税別）はいかがでしょうか。食べごたえのある寿司と、焼き立てふわふわだし巻き卵、煮物、赤出しで大満足です。

Those who are feeling like Sushi, the menu "HANA" is the best choice!

京都では、いよいよ木々の葉が色づいて参りました。皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

The leaves are getting yellow in Kyoto. We hope you are doing well.

今回は、とても美味しい寿司ランチをリーズナブルな価格で楽しめる、花登さんをご紹介いたします。

Today, we'd like to introduce the Sushi restaurant Hanato where you can enjoy a delicious  Sushi lunch at a reasonable price.

 月曜日から土曜日の11:00～14:00の間、お昼のメニューをいただくことができます。（※火曜定休日）

From Monday to Saturday, the various lunch menus are available. *Restaurant closed on Tuesdays

数あるメニューの中から、海鮮ちらし丼（1,640円）をいただきました。お吸い物付きです。

I chose a Seafood sushi bowl with a soup (JPY 1640).

食後にデザートの抹茶プリンも付いてきて大満足です。

A dessert, green tea pudding will be served after the meal.

御前御池　花登さんは、京宿うさぎから徒歩約10分のところにあり、ご宿泊のお客様は出前をご注文いただくこともできます。

It takes only 10 minutes by walking to get to Hanato from Kyo-yado Usagi. The guests staying at Kyo-yado Usagi will also be able to order a delivery of the restaurant.

御前御池　花登

Today, I'd like to introduce one of the most charming art museums in the central Kyoto.

If you walk 5 minutes from Hankyu Karasuma station, you will find an old lovely building which used to be an elementary school built in 1869.

Kyoto Art Center (KAC), the former elementary school building started to officially welcome visiters in 2000.  In 2008, KAC has registered as Tangible Cultural Property.

I'm sure that you will meet the most unique and avant-garde art, paintings, performances at KAC.  Admission is free.

I wolud also recommend you to have lunch at the cute cafe in the KAC buildiing.  Hope you enjoy a relaxing day off at KAC where has such a cosy atmosphere.
